#Snap(ped) Chats is a playful, fragmented collage — part clowning, part confession — weaving together music by Bernstein, Pasatieri, Porter, Weill, and Strauss. It brings the clown into the opera house, asking what it means to be seen and to perform.
Framed by the culture of selfies and endless scrolling, this piece explores how identity is shaped, exposed, and reframed. Humor and vulnerability flicker side by side.
In this installation, song becomes snapshot — a moving portrait of visibility, tension, and selfhood in motion. A glimpse of modern womanhood, snapped in mid-pose.
With Matthew Lynch (artistic director), Adva Tas (soprano), Mirsa Adami (piano), Gebien Kroon (assistant director).
